Position will be posted until filled. Hiring managers will actively review applications, scheduling interviews, and hiring candidates as they see fit.

• Obtain key insights and provide support with daily operations.
• Assist with Planning Commission staff reports, inspections, planning processes, and the opportunity to present to the Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
• Support strategic planning projects in transportation, transit, and comprehensive planning.
• Data analysis for signs, land use inventory, and other duties as assigned.
• This is a 2026 summer internship.

Minimum Qualifications

• Students enrolled in an Urban Planning, Geography, Political Science, Architecture, or Public Administration curriculum as a full-time student at a college, university, or vocational technical school.
• Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use programs such as GIS and Microsoft Office.
