Compliance Analyst/Specialist
As a Compliance Analyst, you will provide compliance support focused on the Revol One Financial annuity product line. In this role, you will support different Compliance functions as business and regulatory needs and priorities shift. You will work closely with company representatives, as well as regulators, to identify and mitigate compliance risks, reducing financial exposure from litigation and regulatory perspectives. Additionally, you will recommend vital changes to Revol One’s internal controls to protect the company's best interests. You will identify and assess compliance issues, and develop recommendations to promote long-term, disciplined growth.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Support a range of compliance functions as business and regulatory needs and priorities shift
Engage with internal departments regarding procedures, standards, processes and requirements
Recommend changes in the company’s internal controls when change is deemed necessary to protect the interests of the company
Assist in the development of strategies to address compliance changes within the organization
Identify compliance exposures and drive/implement solutions to reduce financial exposure, from a litigation and regulatory perspective.
Assist in the establishment of written policies and procedures in all areas of business activity
Monitor current compliance activity and resolve any issues.
Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with all regulators and with company representatives who are involved in compliance.
Research, interpret and apply laws, regulations, bulletins and filing requirements relating to Revol One products and research requests.
Assist in exams and audits (internal or external)
Participate and help coordinate the regulatory review process, including new state and federal legislation/regulations
Independently manage complex compliance projects with minimal supervision.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Must have at least 2 years of compliance experience specifically related to annuities
High school diploma required
College degree or equivalent work experience required
Broad understanding of annuity business operations and of the related legislative, regulatory, and company policy requirements associated with them
Strong organizational/analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels and partners
Comfortable with technology and learning new systems and platforms - strong MS Office software skills
