Fleet & Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the Position:
CARE Ambulance is seeking a dependable and hardworking Fleet & Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our vehicles and buildings in top condition. This position handles routine upkeep of our ambulance fleet along with general building maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic maintenance on company vehicles, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, brake inspections, and minor repairs (lights, belts, hoses, batteries, filters, etc.)

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain detailed service records

• Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks such as light carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and general upkeep

• Help with snow removal, mowing, and seasonal exterior maintenance as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized shop and work area

• Coordinate larger repair needs with outside vendors and communicate issues to management

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in vehicle or facility maintenance preferred

• Basic mechanical knowledge required

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions

• Automotive or maintenance certifications a plus but not required
